Programs Description:

Top Flight Academy is a co-ed adolescent residential treatment program. During an average stay of nine months, students receive intensive therapy, an accredited technology-based education, life skills based in Positive Peer Culture, and self-esteem building aviation ground school. In addition, we coordinate with various step-down programs for post-treatment care.

At Top Flight Academy, you and your child are part of a team that is dedicated to promoting healthy growth and providing help. We do not consider your child a Òfix-itÓ project. Rather, we see all of us as a team, working together, each with an important role to play. We do not blame or find fault at Top Flight Academy. Rather, we focus on solutions to problems by asking each team member to take appropriate responsibility and do his or her part to assist in the growth process. When parent, child, and staff work together, the chances for success are much greater.

At Top Flight Academy we use Positive Peer Culture to empower students to create personal positive change. In our Program we focus on internal change, not just outside behavior. There are two key goals for students and staff in Positive Peer Culture. First, help the student identify and clarify his or her personal values and beliefs. Second, teach students behaviors that are consistent with those values and beliefs. The therapeutic and Positive Peer Culture programs at Top Flight Academy are tailored to cope with issues such as:

Each student will leave Top Flight Academy with new emotional, behavioral, and educational outlooks on life. They will return home with the desire and ability to be productive and happy members of society and their loving families.
