Programs Description:

Advent Home is a childcare agency licensed by the state of Tennessee, Department of Children's Services. We provide residential care, counseling, schooling, work study, character development, and group therapy to 12-16 year old boys with LD, ADHD, ODD, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. We also provide parent training.

Advent Home provides an alternative to school suspension and dismissal. We accept students who need more tutoring and remedial support than what is offered in the traditional classroom. Students who come to our program do not usually function well in the traditional classroom. To help these students and their families, Advent Home also conducts parent-training sessions during the Family Forum weekends.
